which would you rather do?

go on a cruise to tahiti or hawaii? or go to sandals st lucia? and why?

If I had the funds, I would go to Hawaii. You can always do the Caribbean b/c it's close, but when are you going to do Hawaii again?

i'm hearing too many stories of people getting sick on crusies lately, so i'd chose sandals.

I've only been to Hawaii out of your choices and I LOVEDDDD it!! I have also heard great things about St Lucia though- we ALMOST ended up there.

I went on a cruise to the bahamas. It was nice, but I felt like I had seen everything on the boat and after that I was kinda board. I mean we went to the islands but thats only 4 or 5 hours out of the day. We are going to St. Lucia for our honeymoon. i have heard nothing but fantastic things about it. Also whats great about the Sandles resort, is that you stay at one place and you can go to the other 2 resorts and everything is still all included. I say St. Lucia

The Grande is newer. They say its better. we are staying at the Regency. I looked at the prices and the rooms. The rooms are all basically the same, but the prices are cheaper at the Regency. They Haylcon is the smallest. Although I think that we will visit maybe one day there

SANDALS hands down.... it is so amazing and you really feel like you are on your HONEYMOON. you are totally pampered and not feeling like you are on just a vacation!!

FH and I were thinking of the cruise to Hawaii, but after talking w/ TA, he suggested just island hoping without the cruise.
We've been on 2 cruises already, and we had a wonderful time, we didn't even get sick. The fact that there were children everywhere we went, except at night time, that became a bore, plus I felt like I had to regulate (I'm a teacher), even on vacation I'm not about to do that again!
I also agree, Caribbean is a hop and a skip away, you can do that anytime. Coming from the Caribbean myself, I wanted to do something different also, I would go for something more exotic, but try it without the cruise. Good luck!

i think i'd rather go to a hotel than go on a cruise. and i have also heard that the sandals in st lucia is awesome!!

I would go to Tahiti. I'm just not into the loooong flight. I assume a cruse takes a long time, but that's probably nice, you're just not stopping anywhere for a long time. Or is it a cruise where you fly to Tahiti and then get on the ship? We're going to Sandals in St Lucia, which seems to be the popular choice!

Definitely Hawaii, I'm not a big cruising fan though. You can take shuttle flights between the islands if you want to get to more than one. The islands are just spectacular!
