I am looking to have my wedding the last weekend in march. I am going to see if i can afford the saturday night, if not which would you rather attend.
a friday night wedding
a saturday morning wedding-ceremony at 11 a.m.
a sunday night wedding-ending at 12 a.m.

I went to a wedding on a sat afternoon and it was sooooo much fun!!! We started off in the early afternoon and did not stop until 2 AM!!!! If not Sat then I would pick Sunday evening - this way for your rehersal diner people will be able to come. A Friday night I think is the hardest IMO.

We are doing a fri night which was our second choice after Sat night. I figured that although some people might not make the ceremony the ones closest to us would be there.

thanks everyone for your opinions. Me and fh decided to go with a saturday night, which i am very happy about. If we weren't doing the saturday night, then we were going to pick friday night.

Definitely a Friday night-- people will be able to party without worrying about work in the morning. You can have your ceremony at 5 pm and your reception at 7-- people can leave work a little early to come. That is what I am doing. It also helps if the reception and ceremony locations are close to one another.

I vote for Friday night or Saturday day.
Sundays are my day to relax and get ready for the new week ahead.

Ditto girl..........My cerm is @ 11am, it was cheaper to do the recep on a sat afternoon & we get to party after the wedding as well.....
