Which would you rather receive as a wedding favor?

Original post by Lools

FH and I are trying to decide what we want to do for a favor.

Originally we had decided to order loose tea in little tins with a tea strainer from a tea company. (we both love tea). The tea tins come in pink mesh sachets and are labeled with our names, wedding date and wedding location.

Now we're thinking about doing a CD.

Which would you rather receive???

I like the CD personally, becasue I love love songs, but I think the Tea would be a great choice too.
You can't go wrong.

thank you very much

FH and I love love music too, but FH likes a weird genre of stuff and I don't think most people would like what he would put on the cd.
I guess you'd say he's into 'emo' music. Bands like Death Cab for Cutie and The Shins. I had never heard of any of them until FH. We do really love Jack Johnson though and would put him on the CD. I think he's universal - like DMB.

Anyway I'll shut up now!

I would go with the tea...it's very different. The hard thing with cd's is not everyone has the same taste in music.

The tea favor sounds great - and if you two love tea i think that would be the best choice.

I am bias because we are doing cds. But to be honest I love the idea of tea!

i like the tea idea, almost everyone loves tea and it is something that can be displayed. The Cd idea is good too, although i doubt the majority will listen to the music very often only because of so many different tastes.

We were going to do cds too.. but now not so sure.. i love the idea of them.. but i'm not sure it'll be used..if we do christmas themed.. i think they are more likely to use them if we put all christmas songs on them... but i also like the tea thing.. we're also thinking of doing hot chocolate with mugs

definitely the tea. Music is really personal, and many people may not have the same taste as you both do.....

I am defintley a tea girl! I love the idea of CD's too though, but just as an idea...we are doing CD's of songs used at the wedding as a favor for the RD. I actually have blank CD's already and FH bought us a printer and it prints on CD's! HTH

I'd go with the tea. I have gotten CDs from the last 3 weddings I went to.
