My cat used to sleep with me when I lived alone, but now that I live with FH, he doesn't like having the cat on the bed....meanie!

Nope, well our cat does but only for naps. Our dog isn't allowed Dh's family always had big outside dogs so you would never want them in your bed or dog sleeps right ourside our dog. He's our watchman!

I am a light sleeper, and one of my cats likes to jump on me in the middle of the night if we let them in. Plus, I move around a lot and I think it makes little kitties think it’s time to get up when it’s not.
So, to answer your question, it’s a rare treat for them when they can sleep in the bedroom.
P.S. – We pretty much keep the bedroom door closed all the time after we found puke in the bed

One of my cats uses my feet for a mattress every single night. Then he decides when I should get up in the morning by laying across my neck. I have a feline alarm clock.

Do you have a chihihua. My little guy is only 5 lbs. I have never rolled over on him yet! He is 8 yrs old.

Yes... he is a Chihuahua. I kicked him off the bed once in my sleep ever since than I am nervous I will do it again but he still insists on sleeping with us & all the way under the covers

Noooooooooo - Cosmo is not allowed on the furniture or in bed w/ us.
Now he is only 25 pounds - can you imagine him full grown at 100 pounds sleeping in a queen bed w/ DH and I???????
However, I have fallen asleep on the floor curled up with him

Yep..he goes all the way under the covers too. A few times he was sleeping in the bed and he was in the pilow (in the pillowcase). I couldn't find him anywhere! That was the last place I thought he would be. Chihuhuas love being warm!
The night we got Maxie I had him in the bed. He was 1.5 lbs. He dcided to go for a nice walk and fell in between teh bed and teh wall. was there for 4 hours~suspended in mid air. He was too young to bark, and I was so exhausted that i didn't even think to wonder what that scratching noise was. He's a big puppy now, 5 pounds~alsmost three years old and he knows now not to wonder.

They are too funny... I find him in the weirdest places. They other day I was running late for work and opened my bottom draw of my dresser to get something out (it was opened for about 1 minute) I than closed a few min. later I was calling him and could not find him for about 10 min Finally I see my dresser moving I opened up the drawer and there was my little man

You just described my life.... They both lay at the foot of our bed, and then in the morning...the lil' one comes and starts walking across my neck....

Our cat sleeps at the foot of my side of the bed if DH is sleeping. If DH is up she'll sleep on his side
She's not there too much at night though since I end up kicking her by accident

Mia (the spoiled cat) sleeps on the bed most nights .. sometimes she is content to lie in HER bed, but not too often!
She is perpetually on a 'weekday' time schedule, and is used to FH getting up at 5:45 am... so even on the weekends when we want to sleep late, she is still up at 5:45 am , pushing her head in my face because she wants some attention! She will NOT leave me alone until I spend 1/2 hour cuddling with her .. she is the neediest cat I've ever had (but she can get away with it .. she's so darned cute)

Hershey (our mutt) sleeps in the bed when she wants.
Bailey & Max (golden & choc lab) get to sleep (or really just nap) in the bed on sheet changing day. Sometimes if I go into the guest room because FH is snoring, he might let one of the big guys take my spot!!
One night we heard dog nails on plastic and could not figure out what it was ... it Max (full grown choc lab) getting into the laundry basket because there was a comforter in it!!!
