While we're on the topic ... can anyone recommend a good breeder for pugs? Or

recommend a place to start looking for one? I'm a little leary of internet sites w/o a recommendation & am not sure how to start. We'd like to get 2 sometime after the baby comes.

Are you willing to travel across the country? I have a co-worker who got one somewhere on the west coast and he is adorable, sweet and healthy

I would love to use that as an excuse to go ... but .... DH does do some traveling in California from time to time. Where are they located? Would you mind fm'ing me any info?!

why dont you search the AKC website
they only name reputable breeders

I am inquiring with my coworker now

Just wanted to chime in...that's so cute. I can visit the baby and the pugs now.

Christine what about adopting from the pound?

here you go christine

My co-worker said she thinks their breeder left the business because they haven't been able to reach her in a while. Here is a link she gave me to help your search though

http://www.canine-connections.com/clubs/bybreed/pug/

Julie .... OMG!!!! That pic is too much! Thanks for the info!

Tammy .... you're awesome, girl! thanks for finding those names for me .... I'll let you know how I make out.

Irene .... Baby & dogs ... can you believe it?! I must be nuts. But we've been waiting a long time & I've been promising Vinnie that we'd do it this summer, but with everything else going on .... you know how the weeks fly. We'll be starting the kitchen soon & then the baby will be here. I said that I would consider it at the end of my maternity leave when things have calmed down a little.

Denise ... FM me that info when you get a chance ...

Any more recommendations? Thanks!!

Kathi116 has 2 pugs....maybe fm her for a breeder...

we got our dog (not a pug) at home of the Puppies in Flushing...but they offer a 5 year guarantee on the puppies for genetic problems...
