whispers of shower everywhere i go! (long, rd if ur bored)
so as some of you know, last nite my step sis accidentally blabbed that my 'supposed to be no surprises shower' is being made into a surprise. well theyre TRYING but failing ![]()
....last night step sis cut herself of in mid sentence, turned red, and got akward and im like ![]()
say it! (its a peeve of mine when ppl dont finish what theyre going to say) so she says, 'well i just dont know whats okay for me to talk about anymore, like whats a secret/surprise and whats not.' which TOTALLY TIPPED ME OFF that altho ive always said i dont want any surprises, my sisters and mom are goin for it.
so...i lightened up to the idea i guess. but i know me and ill still be mortified when it happens. is it just me or does walking in to a room full of ppl waiting to watch you freak you out?? also the uncomfy unwrapping, etc.?? i just hate the spotlight! to the pt where i seriously break out in hives!![]()

but im reassuring myself that i may regret knowing everything later on and wish i had some surprises.
so today, my other sister basically confirmed my suspicions and said, 'this is your heads up. you know its comin, so from may 1st on, ALL BETS ARE OFF! be ready, looking good any time the whole fam is getting together. and thats as much as im telling ya!'
..........THEN, to top it all off! my poor mom...haha...she just calls me and goes 'jess, what does your sister need our videocam for?' im all wha?![]()

she says 'what does this mean, your sister emailed 'we need to get a videocam for this interview with nate.' << my fh! Poor mom didnt understand and thought fh had some sort of interview. but i knew right away that she had accidentally blabbed another plan!!! I figured it out, theyre planning to tape fh's answers for the 'how well do you know your partner' shower game, which i mentioned a while ago i thought was a cute idea. awww. ![]()
that would have been a really cute shower surprise for me. i thought i wanted to know it all, but now im finding out too much and getting sad!!!!
Nothin is a secret in my fam! LOL big chatty italian fam's blab. in the past 24hrs so many whispers about the shower. still scares me that i dont know exactly when. i felt like i have no nice outfits so i went and picked up a dress at the mall today. gonna leave it w/ mom, so she can bring it to the shower and ill change into it. that way, it can be a surprise and at least i can be prepared to look cute.![]()
