White Bo-k or color Bo-k

White Bo-k or color Bo-k

I'm thinking about getting an all white bo-k. My dress is diamond white. Do you girls think this will look ok or should I get a bo-k with color? My flowers are white peony with white lilac, white orchids and lavander fresia ( I guess thats a kuttke color). If I get color it will be pink peony, white orchids, lavander fresia and either white or purple lilac. If I get a white bo-k my girls will get pink peony bo-ks with purple lilac. If I get a colorful bo-k should I have the girls do the white or have them do bo-k's similar to mine. I still haven't decided on the dress color, thats going to be another post.

My dress is Ivory and I am doing all cream roses, mini calla lily's and stephanotis with pearls.

My BM are having red roses, so I personally wanted mine more subtle.

I think white flowers against a white dress is very elegant and beautiful. That being said, my flowers are going to be black magic roses. I like the contrast for the dramatic effect. My bridesmaids will have a mix of black magic, light pink and a whitish-pink rose so theirs will be more subtle.

i agree only i have pink for myself with fuschia pink roses for my bm's

i don't know jack about flowers---but i'm considering haveing a plum/purple colored bo-k with maybe a white flower center, while my girls have all white flowers with a plum/purple center. i think it would be cute to have a contrast.

I wanted an all white BoK and Eliana advised me against it she said it does not stand out in photographs against a white dress...I love an all white Bok

i haven't gotten my dress yet but i know it is going to be white. i like the way a colored bouquet looks rather than a white one.

I like color too...I always feel like the 'white' boK's look yellowishy next to the white dress

I want soft colors.... nothing to bold.... as I am wearing an ivory dress.

My dress is ivory and my Bo-k would consist of Ivory Roses mixed with Blush Roses (which is a really, really pale pink) with stephanotis. I'm going to have about 3-4 dozens of roses. It's going to look so pretty!!
