I really like the look of white furniture for children. A friend of mine advise me not to buy a white crib b\c it 'chips' and looks horrible in a matter of months. Has anyone else had similar experiences with white cribs?
Also, is white to girlie for a boy?

I just read some reviews on a white crib & they never said that it was cracking. If you go on Amazon.com they have reviews on all there items.

I too love the look of white furniture for babies. I have a white distressed crib and Liv is a year old and the crib looks brand new. I don't think that's true -

I have a white crib in use for a year now. No problems so far. My mom used a white crib over a 9 year span for us 3 kids and I don't think that ever chipped either.
