I've been wearing more silver, white gold, platinum, where I used to wear yellow gold.
I have a really pretty diamond cross that's set in yellow gold and I haven't worn it in awhil because it doesn't match my other jewelry. I took it today to be 'dipped' and the woman said that yellow gold is making a huge comeback.
What do you girls wear??

See, I HATED HATED HATED yellow gold for years. I would not even think of wearing it. Yet for some reason, that's all I wear now. But I also mix. I feel like my watch can have white and yellow gold, so why can't I?

I didn't know you can have yellow gold dipped. Where do you take it? I am a platinum wearer now. After my son was born, I developed an allergy to gold. Can't wear any other kind of jewelry or I turn green or break into a rash. I was just thinking of selling all my old gold jewels on ebay, but if possible to dip them hmmmmmm......

I took them to Ecolin jewelers in Port Jeff, but I think any jeweler can do it!

ALL OF MY beautiful jewlery FH has given me over the last 9 years has been Yellow gold but for some reason I wanted my E-ring in White Gold. I asked for a watch from him a year ago that was 2 toned so I could wear both yellow and white together!

i tend to change mine back and forth (having them dipped) about 4x's a year. i like both, so i change it up every so often! you can have platinum or white turned to yellow and vice versa. i checked with my jeweler who made my ring and it doesn't do any damage whatsoever. i think i'll change it today now that i think of it. it's so cheap to do it too...

Yellow gold is making a huge comeback...so if you like your necklace the way it is I would keep it that way. If you think you'd wear it in the white gold more than have it dipped.

White gold for me. I do like yellow gold on darker skin so I can only wear it in the summer I'm way too pale in the winter
