White gold question...

Hi... I know there was some conversation recently about White Gold getting a yellowish tint to it, so I need to ask this question. I got my Engagement ring, which is white gold, 3 months ago. The band is fine except the bottom of it has a yellow tint to it? From what I remember, doesn't it take years for that to happen to white gold, not a few months??? What should I do? Thanks in advance!

White gold question...

My sister has white gold and the same thing happens to her ring, what she does is her jeweler dips it in white gold I guess every 6 months or a year or so. It looks great when she gets it done.

White gold question...

I got engaged 4 months ago and I am noticing the same thing. At least it is only underneath. I wear my ring everywhere - to bed, in the shower, etc. so I guess that is why it happens faster on mine but I am not sure. I wish they would have mentioned it when we bought it but I'm sure they will have no problem dipping it.

White gold question...

It happens to my ring too. You just need to have your jeweler polish it with rhodium. I do it about every six months. It's nothing to worry about. : )
