was thinking about using those whitening strips. Some friends have tried Crest White Strips and said that it made their teeth really sensitive... do you ladies have recommendations on which type of whitening strips are good.
TIA

Re: White Strips
I swear by the original crest whitening strips. If you look at my pics you can see how well they've worked. Other ones have made my teeth sensitive but these ones have not. The key is to use them awhile after you've brushed. If you put them on right after you brush it makes your gums wierd (because when you brush you cut your gums a little and then the goo gets in the cuts)

Re: White Strips
The sensitivity i read is normal and lasts a few weeks. Its cause its taking a coating off of the teeth to get to the stains and it takes like 3 weeks for the coating to reform.. Not sure if that made sense but thats the short version of that i read.

Re: White Strips
With any teeth whitening product you can have sensitivity. It's very common. I swear by the Crest White Strips and will be using them again come summer!

Re: White Strips
acquafresh whitening trays are more sensitive. FH is using them, he has very sensitive teeth/gums.
I love the extra strength crest white strips...they are awesome!

Re: White Strips
i'm a fan of crest white strips. The results were great, BUT they really made my gums so sensitive after a couple of days using them. I probably will use it b4 the wedding, and make FH use them too!

Re: White Strips
I have used them for years. They do work but make my teeth really sensitive. I do one application top/bottom every other day and use baking soda out of the box (in addition to regular brushing w/ toothpaste) to help reduce the sensitivity! Good luck

Re: White Strips
I have used the crest whitening strips, I think its called platinum plus or something........... I can't recall.
I found they worked for me but I didn't have the patience to use them for the whole 7 days so I really just used them for like 4 and was satisfied. I don't drink coffee or smoke though so my teeth weren't stained really to begin with

Re: White Strips
Ive used them before. They really do work. You can see a difference. I honestly didn't experience any sensitivity but everyone is different.
