I am using my Bleach Trays and they are making my Teeth WAY too sensitive! Anyone else have the same problem?

i tried the crest white strips and i wanted to smack my mouth agains a wall... it hurt so whenever i ate.
I trulybelieve these bleeching gimicks make your teeth soft and wear away at the enamal on your teeth.... i havent used them in 4 yrs but they still skeeve me when i seee them

I get that when I use the Crest White Strips according to the package directions. What I do is put the strips on only at night instead of day and night and the seems to help a little. Also, before you start using the strips (or any whitening), start brushing with a toothpaste like Sensodyne and continue using it while using the strips. It will also help.

i just ordered a set to use before the wedding. when my sister used them and a friend as well they all said that their teeth were super sensitive after using the trays but its my wedding day - i need to have my pearly whites look WHITE!

Get a floride gel or rinse. Your dentist can reccomend it to you. Ifyou get the gel after using the trays rinse them outand put the floride gel in the trays and put them back onyour teeth for 10 minutes it will cutthroat sensitivity by half.

I've read this a lot. I'm getting mine done at an office and they recommend using sesodyne 1-2 weeks before the application.

my teeth acheeee after the strips. i had to start using sesodyne. also i am having the dentist whiten my teeth 2 weeks before the wedding.

I use the crest professional white strips. You are supposed to use them for 30 minutes everyday for 20 days. I'd KILL myself - I use they 30 minutes every other day - and I still see a difference!
Ohhhh and every other day - no sensitivity.

FH just told me there is a new teeth whitening salon in the Smith Haven Mall ... They might even have some things to help with sensitivity there.
