white tux?

so my dress is very cinderalla esque so i think i'm going to do a fairy tale theme.

i was thinking of putting FH is a white tux and wanted to see how you ladies felt about this.

my girls are wearing a hot pink and fh wants the guys to wear blue so i thought it could be white with cobalt blue vest since he doesn't like teal?

I don't want to offend anyone out there..but I am not a fan of white tuxes whatsoever... I really believe only one person at the wedding should be in white

Also I would try to incorporate your 2 colors with all bridal party members if you are going to do guys and girls in different colors.
For example maybe add a cobalt sash or embellishment to the girls dresses??

i told my FH about a white tux and hes like....im getting married not baptized!! LOL

hence, no white tux here LOL

What if you did like a really formal gray tux? with tails even, that would look very fairytale.

I always think of a white tux as a pimp lol but thats just me!

guess we're the oddballs here... we had a royal-themed wedding and FH went all out - IVORY TUX (my gown was ivory so it had to match!) WITH TAILS!!!

i didn't MAKE him wear white. he was the one who came up with the idea... tails and all...

i personally think that white tuxes are (for lack of a better word) ugly. it reminds me of 90s prom, and its just all wrong with the white dress.

I agree that the very formal morning suit is classic and fairy tail, especially if they have tails. that is a beautiful oook and very cinderalla.

hmm..... I am not personally going with a white tux, both my brother and my brother in law wore white tuxes at their weddings and they looked amazing. While it may not be for everyone I think white tuxes are fine! Its your vision not anyone else. Maybe some people think grey and black tuxes are boring who knows! I say, if your FH likes it and you like it, DO IT!
