White Tux Jacket

Has or is anyone's FH/DH planning on wearing a white tuxedo jacket? My question is, is the tux actually white or is it diamond white or ivory or cream.....
I'm trying to figure out what color to order my dress in. Thank you!!

If FH wants pure white, it is available in polyester only. The wool white tux jackets vary in color from diamond white to ivory based on age and how many times they have been sent to the cleaners.

Nope!! MInd you, the reason I know this is b/c FH was planning on wearing a white tuxedo jacket until he found out white only comes in polyester and he wants wool!

I tease FH and tell him I want him to wear a black fitted tux with the ruffled shirt , cumberbun, and converse high tops. He wont' do it.

I better stop joking though or he may really show up in it!

ugh i'm glad my FH dropped this idea one less thing for me to worry about!!!

My DH didn't, but I just wanted to let you know that I L-O-V-E a white/ivory dinner jacket. SOOOO old OLD school classic, a la Casablanca or Sabrina. Is that what you were thinking or was your DH planning on going white/ivory from head to toe?

I'm laughing because 'Old school classic' is about as opposite of FH as you can get. I think that he just doesn't want to be in the same outfit as everyone else. He just wants to wear the white jacket thankfully. What I'm really having trouble with is the fact that he wants to wear a zebra print vest and bow tie for the reception.
