Hey girls... anyone have any ideas on white vs off white bridal gowns? I put deposit on ivory ...but now I started thinking of flowers...flower girl dresses etc.. and should they all match me in ivory? Are you choosing ivory or white for bridal gown?

I went back and forth in the store 100x and eventually decided on the white gown.
Most flowers are not stark white anyway so I don't think the flowers will be a big deal.
I think the FG does have to match you in Ivory

My dress doesn't come in white. It's raw silk so the lightest color you can get is Natural, which is like a diamond white. I actually prefer this color because it looks better with my skin tone. I don't think that flowers would really matter because as previously mentioned a lot of flowers aren't stark white so it should look fine. The one thing I'm unsure about is what color shirt FH should wear. I don't know how it would look if he had a white shirt/tie and I had the diamond white color.

My dress is ivory and my flowers are mango and burnt orange colored. I dont have a FG but if i did her dress would be ivory also. I do think that if you go off wihite or ivory you haver to play everything off of that color. Otherwise your dress will look dirty

When I went to a tux place they told me FH shirt should match my dress. So since my dress is ivory his shirt will be ivory also. your FH should have a diamond white shirt to match your dress

i went with ivory but I didn't have issues with other colors matching me because I had very deep colors and no whites...IMOH I think white does not compliment many types of skin tones like off white or ivory does but do what is easiest for you....and it is fine to have FHs shirt white and you in ivory it looks fine in pics and I think ivory shirts look dirty..LOL

I wore off white. I looked too pale in a white dress. DH wore regular white shirt (not ivory).
My dress is ivory...I'm just way too pale to pull off a white dress.

My dress was listed as ivory - but unless you put it next to the same dress in platinum white - you'd never know. the ivory gave my skin such a warmer glow.
