White Wedding - Ivory Gown?????

I personally think so, hmmm i hope now that i think about it, im wearing ivory and most of my flowers are white lol

Yeah same with my flowers along with white and ivory flowers Some of the gowns I tried on looked white but they were ivory, (I couldnt tell the diff) but they werent too too bright whiteish

exactly, the lady showed me an ivory dress and i thought it was white, then she brought out a white dress to put next to eachother and only then i saw a difference, i think the ivory should go with the flowers, we dont need to match our decor

I think it will, my dress is white. my linens will be white & ivroy all flowers will be white and ivroy (alth I'm thiking of adding color for my bo-k)...

Ok I think I will make my theme white and ivory , my linens are white as well. I am not going to drive myself crazy on this. But I read on the BHB board about white shirts for guys when you are wearing a ivory gown will that look yellow , I dont think so right??? OHHHH MANNNNN, I gotta research

I don't think it will be a problem. At the reception, the lights are usually dim and there are candles so the whites will be subdued anyway. It will all blend.

The ivory/white you are talking about most likely will look white anyway.

Yeah it looks mostly white. At my reception it will be mostly candlelight not much natural light so yeah it will blend nicely, thanks

i thuoght i would get an ivory dress, but when i tried my dress on in white, i actually liked it. It isnt start white, cause of the fabric, I know there was a girl on here, who buoght an amsale dress, she ordered it in white, and since the materials are natural and not manmade they will never be pure white,

When her dress came in, it wasnt as white as she wanted cause its silk. She told me Amsale made her a whole new dress in all new real WHITE material.

I dont think the flowers and linens will clash no one will notice, and i plan on having ivory and white flowers as well.

I am doing an all white theme as welL!!

If it was up to me i would have my bridal party in white, but i think people will think that i am crazy!!!!!!
I am doing all white flowers in the centerpeices, NO GREEN showing at all. Lots of filler so no leaves show through, white linens, I want to do a white chocolate martini as my signature drink. I will probably give out white wine as favors, along with a box of godivas wrapped in a white bow.
HMMM what else, I am doing Deep Dark purple dresses, so the white bok's should really stand out, my bok willl be all white as well, NO GREEN!!!!
I am also having 11 candles per table, they are white as well!!!!
Most likely White Menus with gold writing
The candelabras are gold, and the BM's will wear gold strappy sandals.
