Does anyone know anything about them? Are they reputable? I found a wedding band I liked there. Any comments would be great. Thanks

Re: Whitehall Jewelers
MY Fh bought me a bracelet there once. I wear it all the time, but thats all I know
I think he got it in Huntington or that area, so if there are more than one I can't help you out

Re: Whitehall Jewelers
This is just my opinion, while their jewerly is very pretty, I think they are a rip off. I think they charge WAY too much money!
I bought a bracelet there for my FH one Christmas but returned it because I found a MUCH nicer one, MUCH heavier one elsewhere for cheaper. Not that I'm a cheapo.

Re: Whitehall Jewelers
For my first marraige my ex bought my e-ring from there and got it apraised there as well. After we got divorced I went to the Diamond District to sell the diamond to pay for my trip to Hedonism with my girlfriends and the jewler at the DD told me my ring was a piece of crap and was worth less than $1000 (my ex payed quite a bit for it too I might add). I had the appraisial with me and the jewler said it was a lie and showed me the imperfections in the stone. I was pretty ****ed. I went back to Whitehall and basically they said that I switched the stone and too bad for me. So long story short I don't recommend them : ).

Re: Whitehall Jewelers
There are quite a few locations, are you thinking of one in particular. I remember a young lady on UW, that her FI got her ring from the Kings Plaza location and it was not good news, they had to go back time and again to get the stone changed. They told them the stone was a certain grade when it really wasn't. With so many other wonderful places, why them?? Her warning was to stay away from them. That stuck in my mind, everytime I pass by there I remember that young lady's warning. Good luck I hope you find what you are looking for. There are quite a few young ladies on here with some wonderful jeweler recommendations

You can describe the wedding band you like to a jeweler you can trust and they can make it for you.

Re: Whitehall Jewelers
Thanks guys, I would be lost without you! I have been looking for wedding bands for a while now and hate everything. Kidding around my FH and i were like lets look here. Well I found a ring that I loved and it was very affordable!!! I loved the way it fit with my ring. I thought because there are 400 stores its got to be reputable, but I am so glad I asked all of you!!!

Re: Whitehall Jewelers
My FH bought me my engagement ring there. The only problem is now that I can't find a wedding band that matches it. I've almost tried everywhere?? Any suggestions?

Re: Whitehall Jewelers
See I found a ring where my FH bought my engagment ring and it was $3,000. I found a very similar ring (obviously the quality isnt the same but its not noticeable) at Whitehall Jewelers. I have been so picky and cant find anything i love. Ofcourse I find this ring that I love at one place its $3000 and then i find it at this place and its $800! Thats what ****ed me in there but if I heard this many bad things I am nervous about buying a wedding band there!

Re: Whitehall Jewelers
I have a very reputable jeweler (located in Manhattan) who custom makes whatever you like, He also has a nice selection of settings etc. A few ladies off this board now use him also.
Forum mail me if you'd like his information.
