Who are WE?

Lets start a thread of who we are, ages, and past TTC experiences/Children etc...I think it would help us answer each others questions and know each other better. I know I am getting one or two people confused!

06/03/97-Still born girl(Noelle) at 29 weeks
02/18/01- M/C at 9 weeks

Cervical cancer in 2000-Leep preocedure removed it all. Clean paps since.

Hoping Im healthy and able to concieve and carry.
This is our 3rd month TTC.

Never been pregnant before. We tried for the 1st 2 months starting with our honeymoon and then really didn't pay any attention to anything. This is the first month that we really are trying by counting and testing. I'm hoping to get pregnant by July but not really worried about it.

We have been trying for two years now.

Too many chemicals and miscarriages to list (its too depressing for anyone)

Diagnosed with
Ovulatory Disfunction
PCOS
and DR suspects premature ovarian failure but we still have to do some tests on that one.

Not TTC yet but I am trying to get my health issues in order (was hospitalized twice in '03 because of asthma). We are hoping to start at the end of this year. I am going to start prenatals in the next month or so just in case we decide to step up our timeline a little.

Mostly I lurk here. The information from the other ladies has been great to have.

Have been TTC since August 3003

DH- Bill - 40 this month.

Married: Aug 29, 2004 - second time for both, no kids for either

TTC: Since June 2004 not using protection, actively TTC since Sept. '04, charting and taking the tests since Nov. '04

March '05: I didn't use the predictor test, just had intercourse on days 9, 11 & 13 and used a tampon to keep things in place.

March 28: Took ept and tested positive.

This past Tuesday I thought I miscarried and discovered on Wed. that I have twins - although it is still very early and we most likely will lose 1. Currently on strict bed rest.

4/20- Only one heartbeat was heard.

4/27 - No heartbeats at all.

4/28 - D&C

Hopefully will TTC again as soon as we are allowed to!!

Married: July 25, 2004.

Went off BC on HM. Wasn't actively 'trying' (i.e., no charting, etc) but hopeful. Extremely long and erratic cycles

December 2004 - diagnosed with endometriosis after laparoscopy procedure. Endo removed successfully and RE and ob/gyn recommended that we seriously start TTC before giving the endo a chance to return

April 2004: first month of charting and 'officially' TTC

Currently 9 or 10DPO - AF is due @April 22 or 23rd. Have refrained from peeing on anymore sticks until AF is officially (hopefully) late

TTC since Jan this year. Never been pg. I've been charting since day one because I wanted to see what my cycles were like so I don't BD on the wrong days. Good thing because my first cycle I O'd on day 20 and had a 9 day lp. So i've been taking vitamins and some herbs to correct that. My cycles have been getting more and more regular each cycle.
On cd 14 and waiting to O.

Stopped taking BC in Sept '04, and trying to see what happens.

DH's been sick for a while and the dr. put him on steroids to fight the infection. One of the side effects is not being able to BD!!!! Let's just say the equipment isn't working, if you know what I mean.

I'm really concerned for him, but I think I'm being too selfish. Each month just gets more and more difficult...

Kara, I never heard of doing that to keep the swimmers in place. Did you read that somewhere? Maybe there is something to it since you got pregnant.

TTC for almost a year and finally got pregnant with our first baby.
We've been TTC again now for 11 months so that our daughter can have a brother or sister but haven't gotten pregnant yet.

We've been together since '98, engaged in '01, married on 7/7/02.

TTC since 7/04.

I have an appt. with OB/GYN for my annual and to discuss possible fertility issues on 5/5, but I just realized I will probably have my pd.

Been TTC since 3/02

After TTC for 8 months we found out I had hydrosalpinx fallopian tubes
Had 2 surgeries, one tube was removed, the other eventually had to be cauterized
2 IUI's
5 IVF's
1 ectopic pregnancy 10/04

Just found out I tested positive for some immune isues that can affect implantation

Have an appt with the hematologist in 2 weeks

Next IVF sometime in June...

Kara, I never heard of doing that to keep the swimmers in place. Did you read that somewhere? Maybe there is something to it since you got pregnant.

Someone told me that a few years ago too. She swore that her sister did it twice and got pg both times, once with twins!!

I tried it and it didn't work, but I found out I had other issues.

Give it a shot, it can't hurt!
