I am going to Aruba, too! The Wyndam offers all inclusive. That is what I am looking at right now. I initially didn't want to go all inclusive, but FH is insisting. And since it is pretty much the only thing he is really pushing for, I have caved. Well, I caved but made him promise to take me to Paris for our fifth anniversary

I would never do all inclusive in Aruba. Too many awesome restaurants. If you really want all inclusive though, there is the Allegro resort, which is all inclusive. There are a lot of young people there, from what we found.

Had our honeymoon in Aruba 2/02. We were at the Allegro and had no complaints.

staceydz and I were actually in aruba at the exact same time, even on the same flight, and we didn't even meet!! I have to disagree with her though ! I did an all inclusive and wouldn't have had it any other way! Great drinks, whenever you want, no hassling with money or worrying how high your room charges are going, pizza and sandwhiches at the bar, awesome breakfast buffet, and decent restaurants. We still ate out 3 times or so - but I loved the convenience of the all inclusive!

I think I'm going to Aruba and we want to go for about 9-10 days too. I'm a little worried my FH will get bored, though, because he's not a real beach person. Nina, interesting idea to take a short trip to someplace nearby, like Venezuela. Has anyone done/planned this?

Haven't booked yet, but most likely going to Aruba I can't wait!! I'm Oct., hurricane season too, so in my opinion, you can't go wrong!
I did the all inclusive for another vacation and it was great! We went out to dinner a few nights, but NOT having to worry about $$ for most of the trip was nice. It's definitely something I'm going to look into... glad to hear that the Wyndam offers it!

I looked into the Hyatt (on line) and the Marriott, but I actually thing the Wyndam has nicer rooms? Anyone ever been to these?

We went to Aruba, I was on that flight w/stacedz and jspgirl too! We never met though! We loved all inclusive. You don't have to worry about $$ which is awesome! (Even though you paid for it,) you feel special going to the bar & getting whatever you wanted and just walking away(we did tip though!) We stayed at Alegro and it was great, I'd highly recommend it!! We ate out about 3 times.
