Budgets are tight and I originally thought I would have to extend my invites out to not just the wedding party but their significant others as well which worried me. I spoke to my FH and my Mom and they both said that just the wedding party is fine and that it's just a small dinner, casual etc. My Mom also said that her, my Dad and FH's Dad do not attend this because they are not part of the wedding party.
Just wanted to know what everyone else is doing.

We will be inviting:
BP with guests Readers with guests Parents Grandparents Siblings OOT guest (which is basically FH's family flying in from England/Ireland)
FIL's also told me to invite my aunts/uncles as well. I felt this was a bit much (also none of them are involved in the ceremony) but I am going to extend the invite because they insisted. I'm not sure they will come though (my mom doesn't think so).

we decided not to have a rehearsal dinner and just have an OOT dinner which is mainly my dads side of the family and FH family. After the BP asking us when our rehearsal dinner is, we are now having a dinner with just them (no significant others) 2 nights before the wedding.

WOW.. I think with aunts and uncles its more of an ENGAGEMENT PARTY!! lol oiii.. I was thinking just a very small dinner for like an hour. My mom said for all of my Brothers weddings thats how it was, just a small thing (they were 10+ years ago... but still!!) Seems like so much right before the wedding

I'm inviting pretty much everyone and their mother. Wedding party, aunts/uncles, siblings not in the wedding party, and out of town guests, plus everyones significant others. Whew.

Mine is a week before the wedding.. so I do not think OOT guests are coming (only one OOT in the wedding party)... but if he does come to NY a week early... certainly his girlfriend is invited. I think that is an exception

HOLY!! I seriously had no idea that people are making it a big thing.. ahhh.. I dunno what to do!!! Def. not inviting Aunts and uncles I have a million!!! My parents said they aren't in the wedding party, so they do not want to go either! lol
