where are you taking the cruise from? Maybe do something in that area. If you can afford it, we love Vegas. Went last year and it was amazing. FH has gone there many times, this was my first and I would like to go back. Also, Niagara Falls is a great spot, Canada side being cheaper to stay. It is gorgous that time of the year.

We used Dawn's Honeymoon Specialists, she's a vendor on this site. Her specialty is cruises, actually, although we didn't use her for that. She is a DOLL and I absolutely loved every minute of working with her!

Liberty travel. We booked our stay at Sandals St Lucia and our Royal Caribbean cruise through them.

We are doing exactly what you want to do. We are taking a week cruise out of Puerto Rico. We already booked that. But we are also going to go to PR 2 days before the cruise and then fly to Barbados for 5 days after the cruise.
ME! I got a better deal doing things myself than going through an agent.

Also if either of you have a company TA at work then try that bc you can get HUGE discounts. FMIL used hers for our HM and let me say i was amazed by what he did. I went online myself on all the discount sites and found amazing prices but he was able to do even better, and were both paying total for airfare what it would've cost us each. I really thought i was going to just book it myself but i said ok if FMIL wants to try thats fine. I found online airfare for $500 one way to spain so i thought that was amazing. For both fh and i total to go from nyc to spain, spain to monaco, monaco to NYC its 2k total so 1k for each of us and he did this with an even better airline and the one that was the most expensive on all the sites...normally for 3 flights like that it wouldve been each that much. WE tried 3 TA's so i was just like forget it ill book the trip myself bc i am finding better deals than TA's, but im glad FMIL contacted this guy
I also remember overhearing someone on the train the other day talking on the phone and said that with her job she gets 40% off of tickets

I Also used Travel Tom, he was great! Very helpful and was there with any answers to questions I had! I highly reccommend him!
