Who are you using for a photographer?

Hi all- I am new to the site- congrats to all the 08 brides to be!!

I am looking for any recommendations you have so far with photographers. Specifically, Patken, North Island, Imagine or Avidon. If anyone has any recommendations about any of these or other photogs and can post, I would appreciate it very much!

We are using Marco Photography. His prices are very reasonable and there is alot included in all of his packages. HTH!

i booked with velvet...i got an album with 90 pics (and mini album), 1 11x14, 2- 8x10, 2 photogrpahers, all pics on a cd, a videographer, 3 edited dvd's and raw footage for 4200..i thought it was a great price and i loved the photos and video they showed me

i also saw duet and patken...they were also great and had beautiful pics..i chose velvet over them for stupid reasons nothing to big haha
~all of there prices were comparable, patken did engagement pics in the studio (i wanted to go somewhere), and although this didnt really bother me, you dont get to choose your photographer and u might not really work with them or meet them till the day of your wedding...duet was pretty much the same prices as velvet and offered the same but velvet told me that if i pay in cash that he wont choarge tax, duet charges tax, and i liked the sample video i saw in velvet a little more then the duet one...but these are just my opinions...i thought all 3 had great prices and beautiful pics and video haha

Welcome and congrats.
We booked with Patken but I do recommend both Patken and Velvet. If i had the extra $1,700 I would of went with Velvet Studios.

We booked Velvet. We just got a great feeling when we met with Bob. He seemed to have a similar personality to ours and we clicked. He was willing to work with our budget and we LOVED his work!

I am using ADA. They are a company that has been around for forever and very reliable. I got a huge package for a decent price. FM me if you want more info

I am using Angelica glass

Patken is very popular on here so you will find lots of reviews on them if you do a search.

The others i have heard of well actually just north island and imagine, personally don't know much about them though...Try doing a search on them

we booked with duet! we got a great price. Velvet gave us similar price but i choose not to go with them because i was annoyed that all they showed me was one brides picrs/dvd..etc.. I know stupid, but FH and I got turned off by that.
