who are you using for video/photo,florist,dj?

Photo/video: Duet!! (they can be pretty reasonable, if you don't get albums they may be in your range, I would meet with them)

Florist: Still looking, but best prices I have found are Flower barn and Burtons, though I hear going to a local florist, and not a wedding florist, can save you a lot

DJ: After Hours Entertainment, we found them to be the most reasonable and clicked with our personalities (they were less than FM entertainment, which surprised me)

We really love ALL of our vendors! We really looked around and got the most for our money...we came in under budget and decided to add on a steel drum band and photobooth!

He did our ephotos and I am not photogenic at all AND I was sick as a dog. Check out my album, they speak for themselves. We sat with Lisa and she was knowledgable, not pushy and very nice. We actually went home and brought her back a bottle of wine. LOL The price was right!!

Florist: Burton's
Bobbi was the greatest!! She was so stoked when we were talking about our wedding and our vision. She nailed it before we had a chance to put a word on it ourselves!! We can't wait to see what she puts together.

DJ: After Hours Entertainment - Phil
What can I say about this guy? He's the BEST!! He helped me keep the surprise of the John Travolta impersonator from my FH. He even emailed me a few pics. I had no idea he had a camera!! When he saw me roaming the room with the video camera, he announced it, making it easier for me to get everyones attention. When he saw me running across the dance floor to get favors as people were leaving, he helped me move the table and made an announcement reminding people to stop by and take one. He was just always there, yet he wasn't in your face. Make sense? What a comfort to know he will be orchestrating our big day.

Even though you didn't ask halls I'd like to put in a plug for the Irish Coffee Pub. We chose them for our eparty because we loved the food every time we went there and the service is fantastic. Having been at my sisters wedding there last summer, I was able to experience it first hand. Now, imagine 75% of the guests are Italian. Not just Italian but I-TALIAN!!! We took a lot of pokes and jabs for picking a 'mick' place but boy oh boy did they eat their words!!!!!! The food was delish!! The service was outstanding and Jay was such an asset!! FH and I have decided to have any non summer events (we love to do the deck thing at our house) at the ICP!!!

I highly recommend each of my vendors but for other than DJ, I was quoted less expensive from the following places- you could fm for details on why I didnt go with them- nothing terrible or I wouldnt even recommend them to you.


Patken was the least expensive photography that I was quoted and many girls on here give them good reviews.

For Video, check out Halo video, also get good reviews and are very very reasonable.

(Combining Patken and Halo, that might fall in your price range for photo/video)

For DJ- I was quoted the lowest from this dj and was very impressed...although I was shopping around for prices on all my vendors, I never sacrificed quality and if I thought I was like with some other vendors, I was willing to spend a little more and go with someone else.

Flowers- I would try Burtons like some other people said. I was quoted the lowest from them.
