for my vegas wedding, I will be walking down alone. My parent's really can't afford to fly themselves and my borther's out there. So when we come back we will be having a ceremony/reception a few months later in which my father will walk me down the aisle. He says that since I'm getting married in NV, it doesn't count in his book bc I wasn't married in NY.

My dad. I asked my mom if she wanted to walk with us too, but she said that she wants my father to do it for sentimental reasons.

I originally had wanted my brother to walk me the first half of the way and my dad the last. But upon thinking about it, I decided that it wouldn't be fair to my dad. I remember when I was the MOH at my friends wedding, seeing her interaction with her dad just before they walked out. I didn't want to deny my dad that. So instead, my bro is my Man of Honor. I really wanted my brother up there with me.
