I'm defrosting ours for a few days in the fridge. Anyone eat theirs yet? Our was fondant so I hope it stayed edible. I can't wait to try it!

we ate ours... my husband was very skeptical at first but it actually tasted good! We only ate a spoonful because we didn't want to take the chance!

I took it out of the freezer, defrosted in the fridge.... and DH said He's not risking it....
I am a bit unsure about it too....

we defrosted in refrig too and after dinner out on 9-2 went with tradition and had some cake. actually was not bad. and I live to tell you about it.

I did.. it wasnt deadly. the cake was ehhh- tasted like a frozen cake..lol.. the icing was potent.. It had a weird chemical taste to it. NO bueno!

We ate a piece of ours and threw away the rest! The icing did not taste that good but the inside did, especially the filling :)

After defrosting it a few days we each had a piece...the fondant was hard and not edible, but the buttercream under it was great, the filling was good and the cake, though a little dry, tasted good too. We threw away the rest though.

we're not there yet, but we did have some of our cake frozen. we'll see how it tastes.
our bakery, though, bakes us an 'anniversary' cake for our 1 year (instead of having the traditional top tier as a take home) and we already got the card asking us to call and order it. can't wait cause I loved our cake!
