Who attends rehersal Dinner

Just curious who should be attending rehersal dinners. Should i allow my bridal party to bring dates.Reason i ask is my best mans GF is one of my good friends but she isnt in my bridal party so i am not sure if she should attend. but i would love to have her there. I am not sure how FFIL and FMIL feel about this. What do you all think?

i think if you know the date personally than yes but if its not a steady boyfriend / girlfriend than no
i DO think everyone should be invited with a guest to the wedding, but rehearsal dinner is much more intimate

I think for the rehearsal dinner it should just be the bridal party and their spouses or girlfriend/boyfriend that they have been dating. I wouldn't invite them and let them bring anyone if their single. It is intimate and they can bring a guest to the wedding. That's what I've seen normally anyway.

I would say it depends on who is paying for the dinner. If they don't care, invite them. On the other hand, I don't think they necessarily need to be there. Sometimes I think it's nice when it is just the bridal party. It makes things more comfortable the day of while taking pictures/at the ceremony.

If there are members of the wedding party with serious long-term significant others then they should be invited...especially if you are close with them. Dates - no, but boyfriends/girlfriends/fiances- yes.

I'm just inviting bridal party, parent and siblings.
