Just wondering. I gave my MOH a list of names and addresses of all women being invited to the wedding. But we weren't sure the etiquette involved regarding who's invited. Did the people who threw your shower invite all the women invited, or just family and your friends? Just close family friends, if any? Help!
Most of the people at my shower were family, coworkers and friends I see on a regular basis. It was not every female on the wedding invitation guest list.
I had two showers. NY shower was my family, friends who live in NY and DC shower was my mom, grandma, MIL, MOH and my friends (and a few family members who live in the area). DH's side wasn't invited to the showers because they all live in the midwest. My MIL said they wouldn't come so I didn't want them to feel like they had to send a gift. So long answer to your question is that not every women invited to the wedding was invited to a shower but the majority probably were.
Mine is going to be just close family of my side and my FH's side, and the bridal party. Probably 30-35 people in all.
