Camping season has begun. Does anyone go camping? Where do you go? I have been going to Greenport for as long as I can remember. I cant wait for Memorial Day weekend. We spend the weekend out there (in my parents trailer) and have so much fun!

OMG NO! Hell i could NEVER...
tried it a few times with an ex that loved it...I JUST HATED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT, except the smell of a camp fire...

We go camping!! We went to Greenport last summer, but we usually go upstate. I don't know what we will do this year because we moved to VA and all of our friends we go camping with live in NY. Maybe we will meet somewhere in between. I love camping it is sooo much fun!! Except when it rains!

We go camping!! We go to the Shinnecock Inlet and camp on the beach, we also go up to the Poconos and upstate the kids love it!! I can't wait till it's warm enough to go

I remember my family used to go camping all the time... I believe we went to a place upstate called Woodstock on the Lake. I loved it as a child...but then again I wasn't the one setting up the tent, cooking, etc...

Contrary to what many might think, this little Roslyn-raised princess actually enjoys camping. The only thing I don't like about it is walking to a bathroom facility.
I have camped at KOA's in Newburgh. I have also camped along various locations on the Delaware river.

I have to say i agree... can't stand bugs, bugs, bugs... don't like dirt, i like running water and comfortable beds and stuff.
Maybe if I had a winnebago kind of thing... and a big mosquito net all around me...

I forgot to mention that the only way I will camp is in our 5th wheel trailer (it's as nice as a house, 8 ft ceilings, tv, queen bed, stove, microwave etc.) did a tent, won't do it again! :)

we went camping a few years ago. We went somewhere upstate in Jeffersonville I think. It was on the delaware water gap. We keep saying we want to go again.

I didn't camp growing up but have went with DH and friends a couple of times and just the two of us. We like Rudd Pond/ Copake Falls in the Berkshires. I like camping better when it's just ys!!

We started out in tents. Until we woke up one morning and there was water everywhere form the night before. I was about 5 years old, but will never forget it. Then my parents moved onto a 'popup' trailer. It was great. Now after a few years, they have a beautiful trailer which they keep out east. Sleeps 8 and is comfy! We used to go upstate to Ellenville (I believe it was). We camped by Great Adventure for a week one summer and also Hershey Park one summer. Then we 'found' Greenport and theyve been going there ever since.
