i have begun my search for gowns--tried on about 20 and have not 'found the one' but i do like some--one is by private label g and the other 2 are demetrious (macys)---i know that macys carries them but what bridal stores carry them--i am not sure about getting alterations at macys--a little nervous about that---so i want to find another store who carries demetrious dresses because i seem to like that style & i am sorry if this is a run on sentence but i'm tired!:)

Bridal Reflections in Carle Place and Massapequa carries them.

I believe Adriennes in Islip does as well...jsut dont quote me on that though.

I just ordered my demetrious gown from Lillette's in Baldwin. they were really nice to work with there.

I just bought my gown two weeks ago from the Macy's in Manhasset. I'm not sure why you're nervous about the alterations. But I understand that everybody has their own experience with things.
Edited to say: You could always buy the dress at Macy's and just have it altered somewhere else.

I knwo Macy's carries that designer. I bought my gown at Macy's as well, not Demitrios, and I have had nothing but GREAT experiences with them. I bought mine at the Smithhaven Mall

I am not positive but I believe the Bridal Suites carry that brand, Patchogue & Centereach Bridal Suite, it is worth a try. Also, maybe they have a website where they list the distributors? Good Luck!

I tried on a couple of Demetrios dresses at Bonaventure Bridal in Garden City (Franklin Avenue) - very nice store! I know that Bridal Reflections in Carle Place does not.

I found my Demetrios on at Macys but I purchased it from Burton's Bridals (in Huntington/Melville).

I second what diane said...macys at the Smithhaven mall was great. The head seamstress did my alterations, and was just wonderful
