My mom says the MOB chooses the color first then the MOG picks her color so they dont wear the same color. Is this correct? Please vote for who picks first for me.

I agree.... I never understood why it was important that they not wear the same color, yet for BM's, it's the opposite... So, for our wedding, I've declared I don't care! (I think I would enter a meltdown if I had to get involved with what everyone was wearing... hard enough to get the invitations out!)

traditionally MOB but my mom is not sure what she wants to do so she told me to tell fmil that she does not have to wait for her to pick a dress... we shall see + i dont mind if they have similar colors & or dresses...

I agree as well...
just turned out that my mother bought her dress way before mog, mog procrastinates... BUT just say it was the other way around and MOB procrastinates...why should MOG not get her dress? who cares, but yes traditionally speaking, MOB gets hers first

My FMIL is waiting for my mom to pick out her dress before she goes shopping. But my mom is waiting for me to pick out the BM dresses to see their color I guess I have to get on that since everyone is waiting for me!

we just got engaged,,, and MOB wants to call MOG and myself with my 2 sisters (4yr and 8yr) and FH 2 sisters (16yr and 20 yr) and all go shopping for their dresses!!
