I have been noticing the new trend now is to have your first dance right after your announced and then alot of people are having another slow dance right after dinner, anyone done this and reccomends it ?
i did two first dance songs...one right after the other...cause i wanted to dance alone to my first dance and then have everyone join in for the second

this is what we did.
sort of what you are talking about I think...we had our first dance which we danced alone to and then we had a 2nd slow song where the band asked everyone to join in.
As of right now, we also plan to do a second dance song. We're not having the bridal party join in on our first dance because a) they don't really know each other and b) the BP is uneven anyway. This way during the second song they can dance with their dates when everyone joins us on the floor.
