I'm really torn on this.....
I have a friend who used to be a very close friend but over the years we just aren't as close as when we were younger. We're still in touch on a daily basis but she's just really not a good friend and is sort of selfish - puts herself and her family first which is fine but she's just one of those people who doesn't ever make time for her friends. She's hurt me a lot over the years and I think she is now hurt by me that I did not ask her to be in my bridal party....so I was going to give her a reading but as more time goes on and I realize what a bad friend she is and how I'll probably see her less and less as time goes on - I'm second guessing if I should even bother giving her the honor. I am very close to my 2 brother-in-laws and I'm thinking of giving the reading I was going to give to my friend to them...I'd have them share a reading. It's a tough choice but luckily I still have some time to ponder it!!!

FH chose a close friend for his reading....we each get to choose someone b/c we're having 2 readings.

I picked two of my female cousins to do them. No one on DH's side wanted to do it and all of his siblings were in the BP, so I didn't want them to do double work.

We picked Family, we had a lot of people we wanted to include in different ways, so we had them do readings as well.

well i wanted my brother and sister to do them ( they are not in the bridal party)

BUT

they really hate reading in public and have turned down other people when asked to do readings

SO

i think we are using his uncle and my best friend's mama

Godmothers for the 1st and 2nd readings and then FH's close female friend for the Prayer of the Faithful and our godfathers are bringing up the gifts.

One cousin each - they are not in the bridal pary cuz we are keeping it small
