We're in the process of getting our STD's ready. Most of our guests are from out of town so we thought we would just send one to all of our guests. Is that right?

BEWARE!!!
Only send them to EXTREMELY close friends and family!!! Remember... once you send a 'Save the Date' - you can't send a 'Forget the Date'. You can't put someone on a 'B' list, if they already have a Save the Date. And if there are coworkers who you give one to just because you work with them, what if you don't work with them - or LIKE them - by the time your wedding comes?? You're STUCK inviting them!
This is MY experience I'm sharing with you to SPARE you the grief I went through of HAVING to invite people because they already had a damn STD magnet!!!

I sent my STD's to everyone that was on the invite list. If you leave people out and people talk they may get the wrong opinion that they are not invited. It would lead to hurt feelings.

I didn't have a B list...you were either invited or not. I did add a person or two after the magnets went out...but they would not have known about them anyway.

I live in Philly so I only sent them out to people who would have to travel for the wedding. everyone else is local to LI where my mom is and I am sure is well aware of the wedding and when it is!

This is a great question. I was wondering the same for myself.
Now that I have read the other girls reponses, I am only sending them out to my family and close friends who are DEFINITELY going to be on my 'A' list of invites.

All of our family and out of town friends. We didn't send to local work friends.

I sent them to only the people that I knew were definites. The maybe list did not receive one.

OOT guests got them b/c I included the info on the hotel where we blocked off rooms, plus Bridal party and very close family/friends who I thought would want to stay over and join the after-party...

WE gave them out at our e-party.. which was family and close close friends only... i also sent them to out of town guests... that is it...
