Who did you take to try on dresses

Original post by VogueBride

I wanted to go with my mother and my MOH. It is hard for us to all get together though. My mother an I just happen to have time tomorrow (i live upstate and am coming home for 2 days) and she really wants to go, but i feel bad going without my MOH (my sister-in-law). There is a dress I am dying to try on though...so much that I barely look at other dresses....and it could look awful i realize that...so i kinda wanna try it on so I can re-open my mind to other dresses if it doesnt look good. But will it be bad to do this w/o my MOH. We have tentative plans to look at dresses at the end of May. I will still do that....but, OPINIONS PLEASE!!!!

I'll go with my mom and sister (MOH) - just have to plan it out as sis lives in Massachusettes. It'll be a girls day out!

ETA - if I can coincide the dress shopping with a time when FMIL is in town (lives in FL), I'd love her to come too - but my mom and sis take precedence.

omg...i havent even started looking yet...and all of you who are getting married around the same time as me....are already looking....!!

Am i doing someting wrong? Am i behind??

You are NOT behind....only got mine b/c I was obsessed w/ Amsale gowns, and knew Kleinfeld was having a trunk show this past weekend, and I knew they'd offer a discount. When I told FH that I bought my gown, he was like 'Are you insane? The wedding is over a year away!' LOL
