Who did you tell you were enaged?

Not including the obvious (immediate family/close friends) who else did you gush to?

Reason being I've been at my current job for almost 2 yrs. Its a fairly large firm. I didn't exactly verbalize my engagement although the few that have me on facebook kinda found out or saw my ring and asked (and then it kinda spread like brushfire)
I mean and when people asked me I then of course gladly shared info ..even though I got the 'congrats! why didn't you tell me?!'
I don't know, even though I'm very happy I just didn't want to come off as gloating

I did tell my hairdresser though..but that is because I'll probably have her do my hair for the day.

so who else did you tell boss?mailman? 2nd cousins? lol

People just found out though word of mouth...If I see someone who I haven't seen and they ask how things are, I tell them

I told those i'm close with, and i've been sharing with some of my patients that I see all the time and like. that's about it

I didn't have to tell everyone FH already did, he is a gabber, lol!!!!!! He freakin brought his ring into work to show all the people he works with!!!!! Everyone at my job knew but me!!!! He even called my friend from texas lmfao!!!!

I didn't tell anyone really at work. One person found out and then like you said it spread. People always said why didn't you tell me? I just feel weird being like guess what amazing thing happened to me this weekend hahaha Everyone knows now though. It gets around regardless if you tell everyone yourself or not.

I just wrote on Facebook 'It Finally Happened' and EVERYONE knew what I ment. Well, after 10 years, how could you not.

didn't have to tell many people myself, between texting all my friends in a mass email right after the proposal (LOL), facebook, and the fact that someone wrote a big 'CONGRATS TRACEY' on the white board at work, everyone in my world knew LOL

I told my family first, and then I was texting my friends the about how he proposed only to find out that a bar we were suppose to go to for a 'friend's' birthday had all of our friends together. I give my FH credit.. he told 30 people to come celebrate our engagement and everyone kept it from me including him. It was so amazing!

i only told a few people at work, but the secretaries posted a sign up in the main office saying Congratulations Ms. Falco on her recent engagement so everyone else found out that way

i told the world!! everyone and anyone who would listen. and when i got to work the next week i was flashing my ring around!! hahaha so proud!
