who do we pay when

sorry ladies...doing the 'final' budgeter here and I am a little confused. I know we pay the hall the balance due the week before, but when do we pay the following balances

limo
dj

florist I think George said we will settle up when I drop off the supplies the week of.

photog- I think we pay the week before as well, then the final payment when we pick up proofs.

this is so painful

limos should be paid a week before the wedding.

Most DJ wants final payment day of, but FI and I are paying everything before the day so its less to worry about.

All that stuff should be in your contracts. If you don't see it, I would call each vendor because they are all different.

I agree. My DJ wants his balance a month before, limos want it day of. I would say look over your contracts and/or call your vendors. My photographer wants 80% a month before, then the there are three payments after, proofs, album, final.

In this case. I would budget everything for at least one month prior to the day of, just to be on the safe side. HTH.
