Who do you feed? Do you feed dj's entire crew?

We have entertainment for 4 hours (8:30-12:30).

Do we have to feed these people? Couldn't they have eaten dinner before coming to our wedding???

We have our photographers from 1pm-9pm. Do we feed them for lunch AND dinner?

I believe it is appropriate to feed everyone.....not sure about your lunch question though...I never thought of that. Maybe when the photo/video-graphers are at the bride's or groom's home they can grab a bite to eat, assuming there is food out for the BP and other guests.

You are not obligated to feed anyone lunch. However I offered the photographer the food that was available in my house.

You should feed all vendors, regardless of how many hours they're working your wedding.

1 meal at the reception hall for all of those people. I bet if you look in your contract it specifies that you must provide a hot meal for them.

If the contracts don't state that, you can ask the DJ if they would like meals provided. I have heard that some DJs will say they do not, but all of my vendors have meal requirements stated in the contracts. (I have to feed a 9 piece band + 3 people from the photographers!)

you feed them during your reception - EVERYONE gets fed. If the photo people come early I would just have some sandwiches made up and drinks available and just offer it to them. I plan on making some sandwiches the night before and put them out on a plater and offer it to anyone at the house since the wedding doesn't start till 4:30 pm and pis begin at 1. My family are eaters so they will munch on the sandwiches as we do house shots then do our outdoors pics and then catering hall.

you feed dj, or the band, and photo and video too, for dinner , since they are providing you their services,

Yes, you do feed your vendors......but be sure to ask your hall about a discount per plate for them.

No flowers for their table. I don't know where exactly they eat to be honest i think it depends on the hall.

I think at some places, don't they charge you a percentage of the price for the vendors to eat? I thought that was just what was done...

Our DJ brought a whole crew with them which we didn't know about....We paid for only our DJ and MC...not sure if the other people were able to eat too.

I think it's best to ask the vendors ahead of time. My DJ doesn't want food.... he says he won't take a break. Others will (photographer)....
