what a sweetie-

I was so excited to hear from a fellow westcheterian ( it's not another planet like my coworkers think!)

I tease a friend of my mien because all of her frineds that we didn't both meet in college are from a message board.
to me, its a little weird to cross the line. If I met any of you , I'd be a hypocrite.
But hers is a BUFFY website! , so mine's less weird ( IMO)

Seriosly in the beginning, I was like what with all the NWR posts, they just cause trouble-- really, I'm just here for wedding advice. . .
oh well. . .

Somepeople stand out more in my mind, usualy it has to do with frequent posts, but certain screen names don't stay in my mind, even if they do post often, especially those with date names.

This isn't a plea for pity, but sometimes I think people don't know who I am. I thought maybe it was b/c i dont' go to GTG's or b/c I don't post enough, but if I post anymore, I'd lose my job!

Rainmama--you are in Maine, right? Are you a former LI'er?
or were you planning on getting married here, before you changed your mind?

I don't know anybody personally...

Adding to what tourist said, sometimes someone on the boards will stand out to me and then s/he changes his/her avatar and I get confused! Like, 'what happened to that person?' Duh.

Westchester DOES seem like another planet to so many LIsland'ers and NYC folks! LOL!

I never thought I'd get so involved in a message board either .. I used to make fun of FH about it! My FH has a group of very good friends he met on various car message boards (Jeep, Dodge, etc) .. they will all be at our wedding most likely! He now runs his own website and he's put out an open invitation! They have GTGs all the time, of which I've gone with him .. they are great people, like on here!

yes, OCt.2004bride, changed her avatar- she had her picture for a while, & I knew the face, not the name, & then I got all confused, but I get it now
It is hard to keep everyone straight especially in the beginning.

I know, 'm guilty of that- I cahnge mine ll the ime- but I'm hoping my name is unique enough & I'm annoying enough to be remembered.

I am friends with Sassyz75 (Dina) but we met via LIW I recently met Mv1003 and she is great!! I have also met ThongLori -hi!! and I have met WithThisRing (who no longer is a poster )

I met at a gtg: btrflygrl, julz33, nostressbride, NovLIBride04, Peabody, Halloweenbride04 and Oakslady.

Jen n Dale and I found out we are from the same town and our parents know each other.

I spoke to my fellow wedding day bride Holly231 a lot on here and Mrs. Wask too.
