Who do you recommend for financing?
The credit score is strong but we do have CC bills..who do you recommend thats not rigid and considers real life lol..alot of programs do not consider that people actually may have bills besides the mortgage.

I used GMAC (www.gmacmortgage.com) because they had an arrangement with my teacher's union. A lot of the fees were waived because of that. But they do them for other people. We had a CC balance because of a lot of repairs we had to make to our car. DH pays in full each month but the balances came up when they did the preapproval and we got it anyway.

We went thru Washington Mutual. They were wonderful!!!

be careful who u use, a lot of the mortgage people are not so wonderful, we had a BAD experience with a mortgage place. ( The mortgage person did not what they were doing for 6 weeks when I finally got out of there, it was an awful experience.)

We used ING - Orange mortgage - but I think you might need to have an ING savings account first.

I put Wells Fargo up against Chase...Chase won. I am refinancing now..

I used Chase through a broker and they were good.

But when I buy a house maybe later this year... i will most likely go through my credit union for the mortgage.

My CU will waive all the lender closing cost fees, and give me a free _90_ day rate lock (very attractive).

I had a great experience with Wells Fargo. We also had high CC debt but a good credit score.
