I may be able to have a friend do it for me but I was just wondering for backup plan and what the cost usually is.

I am not sure who it is, but someone said that there mom does calligrapy as aside job, the mentioned it on a post a few days ago.

tarakinspa, do you mean hand calligraphy or laser printed? I used Inkspun. Our outer and inner envelopes came out very nice! They were quick too! The guy even called me at work to double check about one of the addresses not looking right (one my FMIL gave me) and he went online to check with the post office. They were very reasonable in price too.

I've been practicing my calligraphy for several months now because I've always wanted to do my own invitations. I'm very happy with the way it's turning out. I am going to start doing it as a side business. If you're interested in seeing a sample, let me know.

tarakinspa, I used Inkspun. See the vendors section or www.inkspun.com. Also 'Invitations and Calligraphy by Dawn' does laser calligraphy. Their number is (631) 225-6260.

I think calligraphy usually runs about $1.75-$2.00 per envelope.

I did my own calligraphy...Its not that hard...If you mail them before the end of April...I can help you

I would definately experiment with doing your own on the computer. It won't cost anything to try and only your time if you decide to do it. And maybe an ink cartridge

My printer said etiquette wise you shouldnt be printing the enveopes, that they should be hand written?? Still havent heard back from my moms friend and I dont know if I would be able to do it on my own Yabbobay that looks great!

and I really think I'm better now...I just haven't scanned anything in...

really...if you get a nice calligraphy pen...it just flows once you get the basic strokes...
