I am new to the wedding planning and I need some help. Who decorates the tables at the wedding? I know the florists provides the flowers, but I also want to do candle and flower petals. Does the florist do those things or do I have to get someone to do it?
Also, if I want to do some parts of the decorations myself, like order covers for the seats, or doing some parts of the centepieces myself ( I want to buy candles that float and put blue marbles around the tables, etc..) do I have to go to the wedding hall before the wedding myself and set it up or does the wedding hall take care of such things?
Also if anyone did their own wedding centerpieces, aside from flowers, where did you go for ideas and supplies :) Thank you for your help!!!!!
Also, if you can suggest good vendors for doing decorations and centerpieces that would be great!!

Re: Who does the decorations at the weddings??
The florist generally sets up your centerpieces...and the staff at the hall can do candles and petals or your florist as well.

Re: Who does the decorations at the weddings??
I know Westbury Manor will put out candles, petals, favors, assemble candelabras etc. The only thing they said they dont do is very elaborate floral arrangements. They told me to drop off all items the night before. I think you will be fine.

Re: Who does the decorations at the weddings??
My florist did all the centerpieces and the RH staff took care of the rest. As long as you describe what you want to your BM before the wedding, they will pretty much do what ever you want!

Like some of the other ladies stated, your center pieces and petals/candles your florist will most likely set up. Anything like chair covers, etc.. the RH will likely set up for you.
