I'm thinking of doing this - wondering if you guys have tried it and been successful. I'm sick of not knowing what's for dinner and not having the right food in the house.
Also, I'm looking for your FAVORITE EASY and SIMPLE dinner recipes so I can add them to my menu!!! Like, what dish do you make the most that everyone loves?

I do. We go foodshopping either on Saturday or Sunday and plan our weeknight dinners out then and buy any ingredients we need. It works out very well this way and since my husband gets home before me, he cooks during the week. I make mostly WW homeade recipes since they are fast, easy, and don't reguire a lot of ingredients, we both like them.

Since I do the cooking- I do the weekly menu planning.
I go shopping alot. I watch the sales and stock up on things I use the most.
I.e, i make Arroz Con Gandules at least once a week- so I make sure to always have beans and sofrito in the house.
I make pasta and sauce alot as well, so I always look for those 5for $2 box of pasta sale and I always have lots of sauce in the house.
As for meats that is a bit tricky my freezer is always full of meats, chicken, shrimp, fish etc. That depends on what I am in the mood for.

NO way, I could never do this, don't know why. I kind of go for what we are in the mood for and my pantry and frig always seemed packed, LOL! We love to go food shopping so that helps.

That's my problem too!! Unfortunately I don't pass a grocery store on my way home anymore so I can't just browse when I get off the train

Same here. Sometimes when I do plan to cook, something comes up and we get home late. At this point who wants to cook, so we order out.
