I have talked about this on here before, but I am just having a hard time deciding on all of my BMs. I know who my definites are, and I feel like they are wondering why I haven't asked them yet. I thought I should wait since my wedding isn't until Jan 2012 and I know how much can change, and I thought I should ask them all at the same time.
Has anyone asked a few people but not all? Also, how did you make the final decision on who is in your BP? I have a few people that I am not 100% sure about asking ahhh I don't know why I am having such a hard time with this!

My BM's are all from different areas of my life, so I asked tham at al different times. I also didn't make it a huge ceremony...
My MOH I asked the day I got engaged... in fact, that's how I told her it happened... I aksed id she was ready to be my maid of honor.
My best friends from hs, I called on the phone and asked
My FSIL I never really asked, FH took care of that
And my last 2 friends I waited cause I didn't knw how many GM's we were going to have, and I had the potential to have enough people to ask to be BM for as many GM's as FH wanted, so as he asked people, I asked my next BM to match... so once we finalized the numbers, I asked them at a group dinner.
No pressure. All very casual. But we're low key people anyway... usually..

I asked all of mine, i'm only having 3 and 1 is my sister so not much to tell LOL
I think you have some time though I would be 100% about asking someone, b/c once you ask you can't take it back (well you can but you will prob lose a friend)

i would ask everyone at the same time. bc if u ask some now and some later it might seem to the people that u asked later that they were afterthoughts

I asked them all separately. I wanted to bond with each of them and have a one on one talk about it, but I also am only having 4 bridesmaids. There were a bunch of good friends I considered including, but in the end included just family and then my best friend. I thought this would be easier, and not make some people feel like 'why'd she include her but not me..' I'm at peace with it Good luck.

i asked all of mine before the engagement party....except for a junior bridesmaid n a flower girl..but the adults all were asked before the party..lol i was too excited i couldn't hold it in n people were constantly asking

I'm not having any BMs. I'm having 1 MOH and 1 Man of honor. That is it. FH is having his BM.

I asked mine the night I got engaged! Hahaha I was just soooo super excited it blurted out. And we got engaged >2yrs before my wedding will be. One of them I'm not as close with as I used to be, but she's one of those lifer friends that will always be there, so its still meaningful.

I haven't asked my MOH and one BM yet. I've been trying to ask everyone in person and I just haven't seen them recently! My MOH works full time and goes to school full time so she's never really available and when she is, I'm usually working! But she's done this summer so I'm hoping I'll get to see her and ask and she'll be much more available to help with stuff. Then there's my FSIL who pretty much knows she's going to be a BM but I want to ask her when we visit them in NC.

I haven't asked mine yet. I just brought tank tops and the rhinestone iron on 'bridesmaid., maid of honor' , so I am going to make their tanks, and I ordered 'will you be my bridesmaid/ maid of honor' cards. Since all my girls don't live close by, I'm going to mail them out this weekend.

I called all my BM's the day i got engaged and i asked them... i didnt do anything special just asked them... more like told them... that they were in my wedding lol
