Hey everyone! I'm starting to think about gifts for bridal party, parents etc. Who exactly gets a gift? Obviously bridal party, but what about parents? My parents are paying for the wedding and FH's parents are not paying for anything. Do we need to get them a gift?

Re: who gets gifts?
We are paying for our wedding ourselves but will still be getting our parents a gift as a thank you for all their support. We will be giving them parent albums and probably a gift certificate to a favorite restaurant.

Re: who gets gifts?
My parents paid for the reception and his parents paid for the eparty, rehearsal dinner and the limos. We got both sets parents albums and Lismore Waterford frames as a thank you for their love and support.
Even if either one didn't chip in I would have chose to do this for them since they've been there for us for all of our lives.

Re: who gets gifts?
depends on when you do the gift giving
my parents gave us a sizeable gift before the wedding and we still havent gotten one from the ILs. that being said, we still gave them basically 'equal gifts' at the RD and then the day after the RD i gave my parents the 'rest' of their gift
