Who gets invited....

to the bridal shower? I was just wondering...can men and women come? Can the FH come?

so ur FH will be invited??? I am actually having 2 showers...one with just the immediate family girls (MOH, FSIL, FMIL, mom and Futer sis in laws niece) we are going to Atlantic city..but then the next one will be more of a gathering of famil y members..so I guess FH can be invited

traditional bridal showers - only women are invited. FH should be there at the beginning for some pictures and then at the end to help out with all the presents!

but you can do whatever you want!

hmm sounds like more of a bachelorette party than a shower? are you getting gifts?

I think that there will be some men around for parts of my shower...I know FH will def be there at the end for help with presents and i know my dad and FFIL will be there at times too...

basically you can do whatever you want.

my friend at work showed me pictures of a jack and jill shower where the women had to make a dress out of toilet paper for the men as one of the games, looked real fun.

Well perhaps im mixing up the two....Ok the BP will be only for our closest girl friends..and the shower will be for everyone...but is engagement party different from bridal shower? Cuz I already had an engagement party

yes typically at an engagement party gifts are not given (although we got quite a envelopes at ours). and the bridal shower's primary purpose is to get gifts for ur new home. HTH!!

well at my engagement party I really didnt get Huge gifts..Just pic frames and such...but thank you, that clears up a lot of things...so when should the shower be?
