Who Gets Invited to Bridal Shower

I am pulling names off my guest list to give to my MOH -- do I include ALL female guests on the guest list? Even the ones I do not know?

I am personally not inviting every female invited to my wedding. I am only inviting those that I know (friends & family).

Dont forget about siginificant others of the bridal party. I almost did this and it would have caused a big problem. Even if you do not know them well..your fh asked them to be a part of the wedding for a reason and they should be invited. Although..if it is just a short term gf, I dont believe it is necessary.

hmmm...I did not invite GM's FW...pretty much b/c I don't like her (she recipricated at her shower...so no hurt feelings )

but I invited my close family and friends from my side...and then close female family from DH's side...I would ask FMIL

Make sure that who ever is inviting has your BM phone #s...even though my sister did...she failed to get in contact with one of my BM...my best friend...who didn't come I was crushed...

I made the mistake of only inviting the femailes I knew, or who I had at least met from his side. I made a lot of enemies (well, not really enemies, but they were very insulted) - his dad's wife could not believe I didn't invite all of his aunts and whatever. I thought it would look like I was hunting for gifts inviting people I never met, but apparantly I should have invited them. I invited almost all of the females on my side.

Im inviting close friends a realtives who will be invited to my wedding as well.

I plan on inviting all female relatives of both of us
that are being invited to the wedding and only the wives/girlfriends of his closest friends that I know and my friends - not every woman invited to my wedding.

Ask his mother whom she wants invited from her side. Then you can not get in trouble Ask your mom whom she wants there and then decide whom you want there
