Who gets invited to the bachelorette party?

At previous bachelorette parties, if we did dinner the moms came and then went home before the festivites really started. Close friends came also and who ever else would like to come that you know. My motto is the more the better.

i would think all the girls in the bridal party, brides closest friends and fh's sister(s)...also whoever else the bride would want there..

I say whoever wants to party with the bride (that the bride wants there).

I invited my bridal party, friends and female co-workers, all of which were invited to the wedding. I asked a couple random people that I hang out with now and again but didn't invite to the wedding but I also asked them very informally and didn't really involve them in the planning stages.

My mom was suppose to come but then her ride couldn't make it so she couldn't get there. She was suppose to come to dinner and then play it by ear if she would stay. She is a 'cool mom' but she is still my mom so I wasn't sure if I would be uncomfortable with her there for the whole night... although my college friends requested her prescence. I did not invite my MIL. I got lucky and my DH had his bachelor party first and did not invite my dad so therefore I did not feel obligated to invite his mom.

A few of my friends invited their aunts or MIL but only when they were 'cool'. For th most part, they only came to the dinner portion of the night.

I'd say the bridal party and whoever else you'd want there
