We just invited the BP with dates, the FG (my niece) and RB with his parents. And of course our parents.

it's whoever you want - some people invite all OOT guests as well.
we're inviting our parents,the BP and their dates, and the readers.

We invited: of course - our parents The bridal party and their families The readers - which were part of the bridal party's family.
Since we booked so far in advance, we had to guarantee a certain amount of people, since we ran short - we asked my aunt and her family (she is my godmother)

I have a question along these lines as well:
I have sometime to worry about it, but FIL's have already started talking about throwing the rehersal dinner...and FMIL was saying that its just gonna be the BP(no guests) us our parents and the FG and RB and their parents..I guess the jr, bridesmaids parents too...ANYWAYS... my FSIL is one of my MOH's and my FMIL wants to invite her to be the only one that invites a guest (cuz its her daughter and she throwing the party and she can do what she wants) I think its tacky...what do you do about something like,,, I feel everyone gets a guest or no one...I dont care which she chooses but dont ya gotta be fair?
