Who gets tipped??

Hi ladies,

Can you tell me who gets tipped and what percentage?

Reception hall - 20% for service??
Florist??
Band??
Limo driver??

Anything else I am missing??

What about the DOC? Does she get tipped?

(I'm trying to finalize budget numbers...)

I kinda feel that if the person works for themselves - like a band, DOC, etc - they don't NEED to get tipped (or not very much) since all the money they make they keep. However, if a photog. works for a bigger company, I would tip that person since they only get a day rate, you know what I mean?

Florist is one I've never thought of before! I don't think they need to be tipped, but if they go out of their way to deliver flowers to more than one place (if you want bouts delivered to the groom's parents' house, and want the centerpiece brought to the RH in addition to dropping off your bouquets at your house, etc), I would give him / her something extra.

I am going to tip my doc.

percentages are 100% up to you - but here is a list of who I tipped....

Day of Coordinator
Makeup
Hair
Photographer
Videographer
DJ
Pastor

I think my parents tipped the florist.

I would've tipped the Limo too - but they took off....
