Quick question, who typically rides in the limo. I am trying to get an idea of what my ideas are & everyone is try to tell me how it usually is. & I really can't afford to transport everyone invited to the wedding (it is starting to feel that way).
I wanted to find out what you girls are doing.
Are you doing a separate limo for you & dad (for going to the church) & another the bridal party? Where does the groom go, in that limo, another one, etc. well you get the drift of my questioning.

I have two limos. On the way to church, girls with my parents in one and guys with fh's parents in the other. Then from church to take pics and to rh they go in whichever one they want. I might take the fg and rb parents in with us from the church too.... still deciding...

here's what i'm doing:
6 passenger to pick up groom's parents super hummer to pick up groomsmen and groom
drop those people off at church
same 2 limos go to my house 6 passenger takes me and my parents super hummer takes the girls
after church 6 passenger takes both sets of parents to the hall super hummer takes bride, groom and whole bridal party to hall
after reception prob 8 to 10 pass to take parents home and me and FH home UNLESS we end up getting a hotel shuttle, then we'll prob use that

We're having 3 limos total.
From my house to the church - one limo will have me, my parents, MOH, and FG. The other limo will have the BMs.
From FH's house to the church - one limo will have FH, FH's parents, GMs, and RB.
From church to RH - one limo will have me, FH, MOH, BM, FG, and RB. Second limo will have entire BP. Third limo will have parents.
RH to home - one limo will have me and FH and take us to a hotel. The other two limos - one will go to FH's house and the other will go to my house to drop off our families.

I am trying to figure it out.
I have 4 BM & 4 GM 3 flowergirls m(i have a super flower team!!!) 2 sets of parents
so.. i am trying to figure it out. i was thinking about a classic car to drive me & dad to the church & after the ceremony for my & FH.
then another big one for everyone else. but maybe i should just do two bigger ones. hmmmm. so confusing.

we are doing this:
a 10 passenger will take the grooms men, FH and his dad to the ceremony
an escalade will take Fh mom, my girls and parents to ceremony
after ceremony FH and I will get in the escalade with the BP and our parents will get the 10 passenger

We haven't done limos yet (it is a big stress for me as we will be driving all over LI that day)...anyway our plan is:
Get one 8-10 passenger limo that will take me, mom and dad to the church and both sets of parents and FH Grandparents to the RH (and possibly my two flower girls cause they will be in car seats)
PARTY BUS for me and FH and the BP. We aren't doing the alone thing we are going with everyone!!!!
After shuttle buses to the hotel and my parents will worry about the car to get them and some others home!

My dad and I are taking the rolls to the church...the bridal party and Steve are going in the escalade...my mom is driving her car to the shurch.....after church steve and I are taking the rolls..BP in escalaade,...mom and dad in their car...FILs in their car...I am not paying for an extra limo . My parents said not to waster the $$ so stevs parents have do the same! lol they might not like this but oh well

when thinking of limos keep in mind....10 passenger limo seats are based on an average sized person. We upgraded to the escalade cause 1 i have bigger girls in the BP 2 the dresses will take up room 3 the guys need leg room
SO a 10 pass limo can prob fit 7-8 comfy ( i think more like 6 but anyways.....)
Make sure your gonna have a car big enought that everyone is comfy especalially if you have a longer than 5 min ride from the church to the hall! HTH
